The Content Castle

I like to imagine that the contours of my soul are lined with the ink of passion, wonder, and creativity. Those qualities are what originally drew me to The Content Castle where I connected with beautiful souls, got a taste of island life, set my inner creatrix free, and dove into the world of words headfirst. 

With a recipe of inspiration, support, and persistence; I kindled an innate, yet new confidence to support my writing dreams  the ones that began when my journals housed poetic lines about life and my pre-teen world. Now, with the addition of writing, my melting pot of passions is more flavoursome. Based on the last 5 years, I have no doubt there are more ingredients for me to discover on my travels and inner explorations.

Songthaew adventures, new silky numbers, malibu-spiked coconuts, and new adventures to discover. Baby blue sheets, sarongs and frozen treats, vanilla scented fans and balmy dreams. A rooster that lives next door, a nightlife of frogs and geckos, and other creatures that crawl. Gold foil designs upon my skin, inspiration never streams thin, making plans and flowing, the universe depicts a world wide open. Possibility and new ideas, take life off of autopilot and watch as it all becomes so clear.

Chia Coconut Creation

Chia Seeds
Coconut Milk
Honey / Agave


Soak the chia seeds with water and leave until they become gelatinous. On the stove, stir the cinnamon with the warming coconut milk. For the chia pudding, combine the warm milk with the soaked chia seeds and leave to stand. Fill half a glass with the chia pudding, layer with sliced bananas. Smother with honey, agave or your chosen sweetener. Add the rest of the chia pudding on top and decorate with banana and cinnamon sticks.

New Beginnings

I can hear the remnants of a joyfully-celebrated birthday ringing its reminder gently in my mind. I am embarking on a new cycle, as one does, about 365 days later. There is a quote that springs to mind at this moment, "you are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously." I am finding my flow in the constant state of change, navigating swirling winds and discovering new currents as I embark on this new chapter.
